What am I

Last week I did 'What am I'. I used the cave, this is one of my picture's. It is the glow in the dark roof. It was my favourite one. This one is my favourite picture because I think it looks really cool. For the 'What am I' we have to choose a object and say things it is and things that it isn't. We had to use a dinoscope to take the pictures. The dinoscope takes really really close up photos.

Drama

Last week I did Drama with Katie.First of all we played a game of hot seat. And I had a horrible first round. Hot seat is when someone is sitting down and we have to ask them questions that they would usally answer yes or no but they have to answer it with something else like probably or something like that.Then we did some acting. We had to act like animals. Kate and I were REALLY loud. The End

It was great to see your passion project of organising a quiz night take shape at the end of the term. I am really looking forward to your fundraising night next term. Yourself, Willson and Max have done well to organise questions and approach local businesses for prizes. You have a relaxed, friendly manner and are a good role model for the younger students at Enrich. You are beginning to see the importance of planning your day wisely to make sure that you complete tasks on time. You enjoy new challenges, particularly the chemistry workshops that were on offer this term. Keep up the great work Izzy and I’m sure Term 3 will be just as successful for you.

2 STARS & 1 WISH

Today is the last day of term 2 at Enrich. We had to do a blog post about 2 Stars & and 1 Wish for this term. So here it goes...My first star is having Katie as our teacher. My second star is getting to go out and collect loads of prizes for my passion project. My wish is that my Quiz Night will go well and we get enough money to get the family down from Christchurch and some accomodation and some spending money for them as well. So those are my stars and my wish.

Going out prize hunting!

Today Willson, Max and I went out to Windsor to find some sponsors for our Family Quiz Night. We went to United Video, First on Windsor, Take Note, Interior Girls, Windsor Phamarcy and much much more. We are starting to get a big pile of prizes. I hope it gets bigger!

Joining Passion Projects

My Passion Project is doing a Family Quiz Night. I am doing it with Willson and Max. Today we decided to join our Passion Project with Tabbitha and Nathan so we do the quiz night together.We are thinking of doing it on the 11th of August. It is going to be at the Bill Richardson Truck Muesum (It's my late Grandad's so my mum now owns it) We all hope it will go well...THE END

Gifted Awareness Week

This week it is Gifted Awareness week. Gifted Awareness week is the week the gifted people think about what is it like to be gifted. We think about the good things and the bad things.The bad things for me are :Everyone thinks you should know everything so when you get something wrong they say you are not gifted and why do you go to enrich?I think the good things are you get to come to Enrich@ILT and learn with the people that are also gifted.At Enrich@ILT there are lots of Macbooks so we can do all our work on them and it makes work FUN!!!I think Tannebaums model of giftedness suits me best because:I think I have a natural ability for academics so I think I was born with a good brain,I think the enviroment around me is good for learning because in Invercargill we have good schools and we have Enrich@ILT,I think I am motivated to learning because I really love learning,I think I have chance because my Mum and Dad are smart so I am smart and I had the chance to go to Enrich@ILT and I took the chance,I think that my teachers think I am good enough to go to Enrich@ILT because your teacher has to think you are good enough to go to Enrich that how you get to go to the workshop and then it's up to the people at Enrich@ILT to say if you go here. So thats what I think about being gifted.
